Pujol Torguet's veterinarian thinks that the animal welfare is important. In the interview he explained the way farmers should treat the animals so both of us, animals and people, have a better result. The welfare of any animal affects the quality of its meat and therefore to us. 

The fact that in 2013 an European legislation comes into force on animal welfare, means that all farm has to adapt its facilities to comply with this obligation. There are already prepared farms for it but there are still many others lacking these facilities.
